Our local library has a fantastic kids’ room with many thoughtful activities left out to engage patrons. For instance, a huge loom recently appeared on one of the reading tables, and everyone was invited to weave a row or two or ten. It was neat to see it growing each time we visited.
Another neat idea they’re using is a vessel with a few clues inside, and you’re asked to figure out what book it represents. Can you guess which book this is? I’ll send a free copy of Haunted to the first correct commenter.
In the background, you can see another book puzzle created in a Voss water bottle. I started wondering, if I had to create one for Haunted, what would I put in it? Maybe a scale model of the Arnaud manor, a silver straw, a miniature headstone….
