I’ve been remiss in posting photographs from the night Haunted launched. We had a standing-room only crowd (literally: I had brought extra chairs and the very charming bookstore owner Tina urged me not to put them out: clever lady) and I felt so happy to see people I knew from so many different areas of my life: other writers, mom friends, runner buddies, history buffs, and even some nice strangers. Here’s a nice selection of images taken by various friends (no selfies! I haven’t invested in the stick yet) 😉

Opening the book and getting ready to read

Historical Novel Society friends: Erin McCabe, Susan Spann, Jennifer Laam, and me

Two other HNSers, Pam Mundale and Mark Wiederanders.

I think Haunted is scaring them…

Chalkboard outside: I love the description “a tale of an ominous manor and missing children.”

The bookstore’s prelaunch display

Wonderful Tina, owner of Face In A Book, introducing me

Chatting with fellow HNS writers Kathy Boyd Fellure, middle, and Erika MacDonald, right.

With Erika M. 🙂

Dark photo, but Tina put together this great spread of Haunted books!

With lovely Suz!

Chatting with the target audience: an actual teen! The niece of a dear friend.

Another teen/niece…so happy she came!
