I’ll be presenting at the California Writers Club monthly meeting Aug. 7 at the IHOP in Rancho Cordova (near Sacramento). The public is invited; you don’t have to be a member of the club (which was started by Jack London and other early California writers). I like to get the chocolate chip pancakes, but I request that they only put in half the amount they normally do; otherwise, just too chocolatey. I think you can tell I’ve been there before….?
I’ll be talking about how to write young adult fiction, via connecting with those memories of our own teen years (if we’re not still in them)…and also a little about the business side of finding an agent or going straight to a publisher.
